PTT and SCB Launch "ESG Asset Enhancement Program" to Advance Sustainable Investment and Clean Energy Goals

PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) has partnered with Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) to launch the "ESG Asset Enhancement Program," a strategic investment initiative aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This program aims to enhance PTT's investment portfolio by diversifying across domestic and international assets, including new financial instruments designed by SCB. The program also offers PTT enhanced returns above market rates within an agreed timeframe, supporting the company's goal of limiting direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions to no more than 11.5 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. Key executives from both organizations jointly announced the collaboration: From PTT - Ms. Pattaralada Sa-ngasang, Chief Financial Officer; and Ms. Thariswan Tiensawat, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Finance. From SCB - Dr. Yunyong Thaicharoen, Chief Economist and Sustainability Officer; Ms. Soramon Inkatanuvatana, First Executive Vice President, Corporate Banking 1 Function; and Mr. Patrick Poulier, First Executive Vice President, Financial Markets Function. Under this program, the total investment budget would be approximately 20 billion baht.
